The personal data processing will comply with the European General Data Protection Regulation (EU 2016/679) and additional Swedish legislation.
Purpose and lawfulness
The personal data is collected in order to conduct a survey within the framework of the EUP OHAMR’s mandate. The legal ground for processing your personal data is to carry out a task in the public interest.
Handling and protection of personal data
The data you provide when you respond to the survey will be handled within the framework of the survey until the answers have been summarised. Thereafter, the personal data will be deleted. Personal data in the form of variables for the selection
of population, such as name, email address, title and organisational affiliation, will be handled within the framework for possible drop-out analysis.
The Swedish Research Council implements relevant and sufficient measures to safeguard data protection according to the applicable regulations as changed from time to time. The Swedish Research Council is a public authority that implies that personal data may be subject to disclosure to third parties when a request for public documents is made under the constitution on freedom of press (under Chapter 2 of tryckfrihetsförordningen, Swedish Freedom of the Press Act, SFS 1949:105). Before any disclosure, an assessment according to the secrecy regulation is always made.
Rights of the data subject
You have the right to obtain information about the controller’s processing of your personal data, the right to have incorrect personal data rectified and to have incomplete personal data completed. You also have the right, under certain circumstances, to have data erased or to object to the processing of your personal data.
