The European Partnership on One Health Antimicrobial Resistance (EUP OHAMR) brings together 55 organisations from 30 countries in EU and beyond to address the challenges of antimicrobial resistance (AMR) across sectors and perspectives. The partnership deploys an integrated One Health approach, recognising that human, animal and plant health are interdependent and interlinked with the environment.

Building on the foundation of JPIAMR
The EUP OHAMR builds on the extensive work of the Joint Programming Initiative on Antimicrobial Resistance (JPIAMR) that engaged 29 nations and the European Commission to support collaborative actions to tackle antimicrobial resistance.

Pre-announcment: Call to advance research on AMR transmission
With an estimated total budget of €28 million, the EUP OHAMR Joint Transnational Call 2027 will bring together 33 funding organisations from 26 countries to support international research collaborations aimed at improving our understanding of antimicrobial resistance (AMR) transmission and developing effective strategies to prevent its emergence and spread across the One Health spectrum.
