European Partnership on One Health Antimicrobial Resistance

Implementation programmes

The actions of the EUP OHAMR are organised within four programmes. The programmes are interlinked, and the actions will be executed through different work packages as envisaged in the partnership work plan.

The four implementation programmes are:

  • R&I funding programme, which will provide financial support to AMR R&I.
  • Capacity strengthening programme, which will support training, networking and collaboration across disciplines, One Health sectors, countries and career stages.
  • Data exploitation programme, which will facilitate and promote access, sharing and (re)use of data and research infrastructures.
  • Impact programme, which will support knowledge mobilisation and uptake of research results into products, practice and policy for maximum societal impact.

All four programmes are foreseen to contribute to all the focus areas as described in the Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda.

These programmes have been developed in line with the Roadmap of Actions that builds on the SRIA and describes a range of joint activities to be implemented by the partnership. The draft Roadmap of Actions for the EUP OHAMR was developed in 2022-2023 by the Coordination and Support Action DESIGN OH AMR partners, potential partners of the EUP OHAMR and additional experts, including several consultations with stakeholders.
